The Himalaya above Pokhara

Yoga Retreats

Deepen your practice in the heart of Nepal

Traditional practice, philosophy and ritual, held in a quiet garden above the valley — with the mountains in plain sight and nothing much to hurry for.

Practice I

Traditional Hatha Yoga

The foundation. Asana held long enough to stop being a shape, with pranayama, kriya and the physical discipline that carries the rest.

Rooftop practice at first light

Practice II

Astanga Yoga

The eight limbs, practised as a structured dynamic flow — breath counted, sequence fixed, attention moving with the body.

Evening sitting practice

Practice III

Raja (Samkhya) Yoga

The meditative and philosophical path — sitting practice, the Samkhya view, and long conversations about what is actually watching.

Spiritual Immersion

Talks, texts and daily ritual

The centre hosts talks and open dialogues on the various Geetas and on philosophical texts drawn from many cultures — read slowly, argued kindly, and returned to the mat.

Around those conversations the day keeps its own rhythm: mantra chanting at first light, Hawan (Yagya) on the appointed days, and Bhajan‑Kirtan in the evening when the valley goes quiet.

The Yoga‑Trek

Customized Yoga‑Treks can be arranged for interested participants — practice at altitude, walk in the morning, sit when the light goes. Setups are formed according to demand, so tell us what you have in mind.

Nothing is fixed in advance. You tell us how many days you have, how hard you want to walk and what you want the practice to be; we build the route around that, then confirm the guides, porters and lodges before you arrive.

Asana and pranayama before the walk, an easier sitting practice at altitude, and philosophy in the evening around whatever room we are given. The mountain sets the intensity; we follow it rather than the schedule.

Every trek is fully supported by professional guides and porters who know these hills in every season. You carry a day pack and your attention; they carry the rest.
