Lineage & teacher

Initiated in 1998, teaching since 2006

Since 1998, under the holy feet of Guru Shree 1008 Swami Satchitananda Vishuddhadeva, this student was initiated into the rich tradition of yoga at Hansada Yoga Ashram — Nepal, Kavre, Banepa, Janagal, Charitrapur.

And since 2006, had been teaching yoga — psycho‑somatic as well as spiritual philosophy — in various institutes, schools, universities and organizations. For information, this teacher was active and located in Pokhara‑6, Lakeside previously.

Now, on 17th July, this yoga centre had been re‑opened in a new location as described above. In this course of time, the spot of the centre had freshly (2026 July, 17th) been re‑inaugurated.

The chief guest happened to be the Chief Monk of Dharmasheela Buddha Bihar, Nepal, Pokhara, Nadipur. The highlighted figure in this program was the President of Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh, Kaski, Pokhara, Nepal, Mr. Rabindra Makaju. Likewise, the chief speaker happened to be Mr. Ravi Karki, a lecturer in physics since decades — currently the principal figure in Gurukul Vidyashram, Pokhara.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

A few things people usually want to know before they arrive. If yours isn’t here, write to us below — we answer every message ourselves.

We are at Nagtole, Tallachaur, Pokhara‑20, Nepal — about ten minutes from Lakeside, up where the city noise falls away and the green hills open. Ask for the garden gate at Nagtole.

Three traditional paths, side by side: Traditional Hatha, Astanga as a structured dynamic flow, and Raja (Samkhya) Yoga — the meditative and philosophical practice. Around them the day keeps mantra chanting, Hawan (Yagya) on the appointed days, Geeta talks and evening Bhajan‑Kirtan.

Retreats are seven days, residential, lived at the pace of the practice — morning asana, afternoon philosophy, evening kirtan. Our first season opens in October 2026, held both inside and outside the centre depending on the season.

Private rooms for personal quiet and study, and double or shared rooms for friends, couples and fellow yogis. Every meal is 100% vegan and sattvic, freshly prepared and locally sourced from around Pokhara, taken together at one long table.

Yes. Customised Yoga‑Treks are formed on demand: you tell us how many days you have and how hard you want to walk, and we build the route, practising asana and pranayama before the walk and philosophy in the evening. Every trek is fully supported by professional guides and porters.

Whole‑day organic vegan meals and herbal teas, daily Hatha, Astanga and Raja Yoga practice, access to Mantra chanting, Hawan (Yagya) and Bhajan‑Kirtan, and peaceful accommodation away from the city noise. One rate, nothing hidden.
